Get Ahead of the Holiday Rush: Set Up Your Wrapping Station Now!

One of my favorite holiday prep tips? Create a dedicated wrapping station before the December hustle hits! Over the years, I’ve learned that setting up a wrapping center in November makes the season so much smoother. With everything organized and ready to go, you can wrap gifts as you buy them—no more late-night marathons surrounded by paper scraps and tangled ribbon!

What to Stock Your Wrapping Station With:

Make sure you have plenty of the basics:

  • Wrapping paper
  • Tissue paper
  • Boxes
  • Gift bags
  • Tape
  • Ribbon
  • Gift tags

If you followed along with my October checklist, you’re probably already stocked up. And if you’re crafting your own gift tags, now’s the perfect time to finish those up! (I’ll be posting my soon, so stay tuned.)

A Few Extra Essentials:

  • ✂️ Scissors — Keep at least two pairs handy. Somehow mine always disappear mid-wrap!
  • 🎀 Package toppers — I love adding a handmade touch that doubles as an ornament. I will be posting mine soon!
  • 🐾 Optional “helpers” — If you have cats like I do, you already know they love to supervise the wrapping process! Just be prepared for a little extra “help” batting at ribbons and curling up on your freshly folded paper.

By setting up your wrapping center early and keeping it organized, you’ll be able to enjoy the creative side of gift wrapping without the chaos. So turn on some holiday music, pour yourself a cup of cocoa, and get wrapping!
